Detailed Description
Gluco-Balance is a carefully designed formula which contains herbs and functional minerals designed to help control blood sugar level. This product has phyto-insulin properties which will naturally maintain glucose levels and increase blood glucose transporter activity. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is made by the body and is found in every cell, where it helps turn glucose into energy. It has been approved by Health Canada as an antioxidant for the maintenance of good health and helps promote healthy glucose metabolism. Alpha lipoic acid is a potent antioxidant because it is both fat and water soluble, unlike many other antioxidants out there such as vitamin C (water soluble) or vitamin E (fat soluble). It has been suggested that alpha-lipoic acid may help regenerate other antioxidants. In several studies, alpha lipoic acid has been shown to decrease blood sugar level. This decrease in blood glucose is likely to be synchronized with an increase in glucose uptake into cells.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin.
